Creative Lab

BILYA is in the next development stage at the Australian National University with a creative lab at the SUPERFLOOR on Wednesday 12 June 2024. The lab will bring together a group of 30-35 people working across ICIP, culture & the arts, climate + social sciences, Indigenous knowledge systems, UX/UI design, and funding to ideate and inform the next iteration of BILYA - a non-proprietary relational mapping platform to connect those working at the intersections of climate, adaptation, social justice, culture & the arts to adapt practices, knowledge + resource share, and amplify collaborative capacity.

Expressions of Interest for the lab are now open. We are looking for potential users, content + technical experts, critical thinkers, artists and people working at the intersections of climate adaptation, art, policy, funding, ICIP, data privacy and social sciences to help inform the next stage of Bilya.

The Center for Reworlding acknowledges the support of Creative Australia, the Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM), and the Australian National University through the 2024 H.C. Coombs Creative Fellowship in forming and developing BILYA.
